Professor of Informatics Nina Lundberg from Karolinska Institute will hold a seminar on eHealth Related Theories on 5th of May 2010 in Tallinn University of Technology, invited by the Institute of Clinical Medicine. The Seminar will take place at Akadeemia tee 15 in room VIII-120. The Seinar starts at 11.30 to 14.45.
The aim of this seminar is to introduce eHealth related theories that could be used as “tools” to analyze: why the design and implementation of information systems has been so challenging? In practice, this identifies what eHealth professionals should focus on to increase their probability to become successful in their design and implementation of information system projects. Was there a clear strategy of why the information system should be developed? What/whom was the driving force of the project? Who had the need of the solution – and what did these needs look like? How should systems be developed supporting specific work tasks.
