Fellowship Program at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University

The Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program is a scholarly community where individuals pursue advanced work across a wide range of academic disciplines, professions, and creative arts. Radcliffe Institute fellowships are designed to support scholars, scientists, artists, and writers of exceptional promise and demonstrated accomplishment who wish to pursue work in academic and professional fields and in the creative arts. Kultuuriprojektide finantseerimisel saame toetada ainult neid mittetulundusühinguid ja sihtasutusi, kes on kantud tulumaksusoodustusega mittetulundusühingute ja sihtasutuste nimekirja. Toetada saame ka kohalike omavalitsusi ja nende allasutusi ning avalik-õiguslikke asutusi. Üksikisikutele saame anda stipendiume loome- ja teadustegevuseks ning õpinguteks ja täiendõppeks. Stipendiume ja toetusi jagatakse 137-st Sihtasutuse Eesti Rahvuskultuuri Fond allfondist.

Scholarships up to $15,000 for graduate or undergraduate study.
IHS considers applications from those who will be full-time graduate students, including law and journalism students, or undergraduate juniors or seniors during the 2011-12 academic year and who have a clearly demonstrated research interest in the intellectual and institutional foundations of a free society.
Previous award winners have come from a range of fields such as economics, philosophy, law, political science, anthropology and literature.

Siemens Wins 132 million Euro Contract for Medical Technology in Spain

The Ministry of Health of the Spanish region of Murcia has placed an order worth 132 million Euros to Siemens Healthcare for medical technology, service and financing. Within the framework of a public private partnership, Siemens will provide two hospitals in the region with more than 100 imaging systems, including computed tomography scanners, mammography systems, and ultrasound systems. Siemens ensures that the hospitals work with state-of-the-art technology for the next 15 years. This includes both maintenance and an innovation guarantee: The systems will be replaced in predefined intervals with the newest model of the respective product line. Siemens Financial Services developed the financing solution for the initial equipment and for the regular technological replacements.
