Application deadline at the U.S. Embassy Estonia - August 22, 2011
The United States Embassy in Estonia is pleased to announce the annual competition for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. This ten-month Fellowship program is offered to mid-career professionals who have a proven track record of leadership, a public service commitment, and the capacity to take full advantage of a self defined program of independent non degree study at a leading U.S. university. The program awards a certificate from the U.S. Government; it is not designed to deliver an advanced degree. Terms and Conditions:
The Humphrey Fellowship provides: international travel, tuition and university fees, accident/sickness insurance, monthly maintenance allowance and funding for books and professional activities. The Humphrey Program does not provide financial support for accompanying dependents.
Application Procedure:
Interested applicants must apply to the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia by August 22, 2011. Interviews with technically eligible applicants will be held at the U.S. Embassy in early September 2011. Finalists of the interview batch will be provided vouchers for TOEFL iBT if the applicant does not have a valid TOEFL score. The test has to be taken before the end of November.
After national selection, final nominations are submitted to IIE by October 1, 2011, and are reviewed in the United States by independent review committees. These review committees make recommendations to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Awards for the 2012/2013 academic year will be announced in March 2012.
