The University of Kansas, a comprehensive research institution with 14 academic schools and over 190 fields of study, offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, as well as programs for intensive English study. The University of Kansas awards some partial, merit-based scholarships. Some scholarships are for the first year of study only and some are renewable.
KU also collaborates with the Institute of International Education (IIE) to award several renewable tuition scholarships to new undergraduate students with outstanding academic and leadership profiles. The KU-IIE Scholarship is available only to international undergraduate students who are entering the U.S. from outside the USA with F-1 or J-1 status in the Fall semester. Scholarships are highly competitive and are awarded to the top candidates in the applicant pool after they have been admitted. The office will contact you if you are being considered for a scholarship. To compete for a scholarship, you must submit a complete application by the scholarship deadline.
Graduate students may be considered for graduate teaching, graduate research assistantships or fellowships awarded by graduate programs and academic departments.
Deadline: January 15 for Fall semester (for international undergraduate applicants)
