Seminar on eHealth services considering its laws and directives: 
How to understand the concept of eMarketplace with professor Hanna Pohjonen
27th of April Tallinn, Akadeemia tee 15 09.30 – 15.00 Students FREEHanna Pohjonen is an eHealth expert who has advised different eHealth projects in more than 20 countries, including Estonia. She is assistant professor of eHealth in Aalto University School of Science and Technology in Helsinki and also in Tallinn University of Technology. Hanna was also one of founders of Health Care Technology Master’s program, where she today gives several lectures. 

The concept of an eMarketplace in the eHealth space will be introduced and the benefits and barriers discussed. International examples will lead the discussion by practical experience. Finally a business plan template will be introduced describing several angles in order to build an attractive and realistic business plan for one selected eHealth service – teleradiology. The business plan includes the description of the service, study on the markets, strategy, marketing and operations, management and operations, organizational change issues, financial implications, legal implications, trust and security implications, milestone events and key risks. The students will study a specific angle and present their part of the business case to the audience.
